Manifesting Abundance in Uncertain Times

When the world feels uncertain, staying focused on possibility, gratitude, and action can help you attract the life you want.

What’s Inside:
How I’m manifesting income, managing money with intention, and staying grounded through breathwork, mindset, and daily rituals

Note: If you're new here, I’ve written more about manifestation and daily intention-setting and how yoga and breathwork helped shift my mindset during challenging times. Both are powerful tools I still use every day—and they’ve shaped everything I share in this post.

If you had asked me a year ago where I would be today, I would not have guessed here.
With the economy swirling in uncertainty, tensions rising everywhere you turn, and my own job loss just a few months behind me, the temptation to slip into fear and negativity has been very real.

But I refuse to let it win.

Instead, I have made it a daily practice to manifest abundance—and not just in a vague, wishful thinking kind of way. I am intentional. I am focused. I am determined. Because the truth is, if I allow myself to dwell on the negatives, the spiral could pull me under fast. And I am not willing to hand over that power.

How I'm Manifesting Abundance Right Now

When everything feels shaky, staying positive is an act of rebellion.
Every morning, before the noise of the world can get into my head, I set a clear intention: I am manifesting abundance for our family.

I picture what abundance means to me:

  • Having the ability to support our family comfortably

  • Staying in our home

  • Growing into a bigger home in the future

  • Paying our bills with ease

  • Helping our grown children and grandchild stay afloat during these turbulent times

I do not need to be a millionaire (although I would not turn it down).
What I deeply desire is stability, peace of mind, and the ability to provide without constant financial stress hanging over us.

Without a guaranteed paycheck, my energy has shifted into creating opportunities:

  • Exploring contract sales work

  • Bidding on freelance projects

  • Helping my husband generate new revenue streams for his company

  • Staying open to any and every possibility that aligns with our goals

The most important part? Remaining open-minded.
Opportunities rarely look the way you expect them to. I am seeking, learning, connecting, and exploring everything that crosses my path.
A growth mindset—rather than a fixed, "this is how it has to be" mindset—makes all the difference.

Proof That Manifestation Works

You might wonder if all this positivity and intention-setting actually produces results.
I can tell you from personal experience: it does.

Since shifting my mindset, I landed my first contract client within a month of losing my job, and it has provided a nice, steady stream of income. Now, I am actively manifesting a second opportunity—another sales contract client that would not only be a lucrative addition, but also a project I would be genuinely excited to work on.

In fact, if you are reading this, I would love for you to send a positive thought my way that I will land this contract.
One thing I have learned about manifestation, much like prayer or any other form of energy generation, is that there is power in numbers.
Just writing this post and sharing my hopes with you is part of my manifestation practice—putting my intention out into the universe and drawing the right opportunities toward me like a magnet.

Another real-world example is how I am approaching our finances.
We have been saving every penny since I lost my job, and I visualize every dollar not spent as a dollar earned.
I think of every bit of money we save as actively building our wealth, brick by brick. I read articles about the "no-spend" movement and embrace that mindset fully: saving as a form of earning.

Instead of focusing on the unstable market (which just invites fear and worry), I focus on our high-yield savings account.
I imagine the interest we are earning there as a slow but steady source of passive income, growing a little more every day.

Even when I pay bills, I consciously express gratitude.
I tell myself, "I am grateful that I am able to pay this bill today." Gratitude transforms even the most mundane financial tasks into moments of power and abundance.

My Daily Rituals to Stay Focused on Abundance

1. Morning Intention Setting:
I start each day by setting my intention to be open to opportunities. I visualize drawing abundance toward me like a magnet.
If you're curious about how intention-setting has become a key part of my life, I wrote more about it here: Manifest the Life You Want in 5 Minutes a Day.

2. Mindfulness and Breathwork:
Yoga and simple breathing exercises keep me grounded when doubt or fear starts to creep in. Breathwork is a free tool that can shift your entire energy in just a few minutes.
I shared more about this in Going With the Flow: How Yoga Can Transform Your Mindset, especially how breathwork became my anchor during some of my most uncertain days.

3. Protecting My Mental Space:
I am vigilant about not letting intrusive thoughts take root. When negativity pops up, I acknowledge it, but I do not feed it. I redirect my mind back to my vision of abundance.

4. Gratitude Practice:
Even when times feel lean, there is always something to be grateful for. Gratitude shifts my focus from scarcity to possibility. It reminds me that abundance is not just about money—it is about health, family, love, and potential.

5. Staying Curious and Brave:
I talk to people. I read everything I can get my hands on. I stay open to learning new skills, pivoting when needed, and letting the path unfold. Manifestation is not passive—it is a conversation between your energy and your actions.

I will keep you posted on how things unfold with the new potential client.
Thank you for helping me manifest it with your support and positive energy!
